At Plum River Company, every order is carefully packed with love from our Virginia studio. Because many of our products are handmade in small batches, we appreciate your patience while we prepare your order.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

During holidays, product launches, or busy market seasons, processing may take a little longer. If there is a significant delay, we'll contact you using the email provided at checkout.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.


Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and the shipping method you choose.

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions. These promotions apply only during the advertised dates and terms.


Shipping Methods

We currently ship through trusted carriers including:

  • USPS
  • UPS (when applicable)

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update after receiving your shipping confirmation.


Estimated Delivery Times

After your order has been shipped, estimated delivery times are:

  • Standard Shipping: 4–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: Available at checkout (when offered)

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, holidays, or other circumstances outside of our control.


Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

Plum River Company is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided during checkout.

If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to update your order before it ships.


Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier.

If your package is:

  • Delayed
  • Lost in transit
  • Marked as delivered but not received

Please first contact the shipping carrier using your tracking number. If you still need assistance, we're happy to help you file a claim whenever possible.


Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item(s)
  • Photos of the packaging

We'll work with you to find the best solution.


Handmade Products

Our products are handmade in small batches. Slight variations in pattern placement, fabric cuts, color, and stitching make each item unique and are not considered defects.


International Shipping

At this time, Plum River Company ships within the United States only.

If international shipping becomes available, this policy will be updated.
